These devices have been developed for protecting electronic components in vehicles. Occuring high tensions are absorbed for start aid, welding work or when charging a battery. Therefore elcetronic components in the vehicle can be protected without having to branch off the battery. Through the battery clamps the device is connected and protects against possible high tensions. The protection is activated when the red LED display lights up.
