EWP 207 is a sealing material that is based on NBR-bonded synthetic organic fibres. EWP 207 has good oil and fuel resistance. EWP 207 is mainly used for sealing against cold and hot oils, greases, fuel and coolant with corrosion and antifreeze additives. Typical application are oil sump, valve cover, and gear housing cover. max. 200 ° C. FW 522 is based on aramid fibres with NBR binders with a metal insert of perforated sheet steel. The gasket material combines a very good oil and fuel resistance with good compressive strength. FW 522 is used for components subject to high temperatures, e.g. exhaust pipe and exhaust manifold. max. 250 ° C.
